Why bike fit matters, and what "right" actually means
When BFF EZ is enough, and when it isn't
| You're well-served by BFF EZ alone | Consider an in-person fitter |
|---|---|
| Most cyclists most of the time. | Persistent pain that doesn't resolve after you adjust your fit. |
| Self-fitters dialing in saddle height, fore/aft, and position on a road bike, MTB, or commuter. | Returning to cycling after a significant injury. |
| Multiple bikes you want tracked separately. | Specialty setups: time-trial, triathlon aero positions. |
The rule: make changes slowly, in small increments. Listen to your body more than the numbers.
