Troubleshooting Elite
Devices, sync, and storage
Can I use BFF Elite on my iPhone and my iPad?
Yes. Your subscription belongs to your Apple ID, so any iPhone or iPad signed in to the same Apple ID can use it with no second purchase. It also runs on a Mac with Apple silicon. There's no Android or Windows version.
Why aren't my sessions showing on my other device?
Both devices need to be signed in to the same Apple ID, with iCloud on for Elite. Give a big library time: a few hundred sessions can take many hours to catch up the first time, so leave the device on Wi-Fi and plugged in. A session recorded on your iPhone can take 10 to 15 minutes to appear on a Mac; pull down on the home screen to refresh.
Why aren't my BFF EZ recordings in Elite?
Open Elite. When it finds EZ recordings in your iCloud it asks whether to bring them over, so say yes. If you said no, turn on Import BFF EZ Sessions in iOS Settings → BFF Elite, together with iCloud Storage on the same screen. The question only appears once Elite is purchased. Turn the import on for one device only, because two devices importing at once can create duplicates.
Why can't I see my Elite sessions in BFF EZ?
That's by design. Sessions move up from EZ to Elite, but not back down.
Why didn't my storage go down when I deleted sessions?
Deleted sessions wait in Recently Deleted for 7 days in case you want them back. To free the space now, open Recently Deleted from the main menu, select the sessions, and tap Delete. That's permanent.
Can I get back something I deleted by mistake?
Within 7 days, open Recently Deleted from the main menu and restore it. After 7 days, it's gone for good.
What if the app crashes when I open a synced video, or the dots look doubled?
Update to Elite 3.9.0 or later. The video fixes itself the next time you open it.
Why does the app quit when I import a video on my iPad?
Fixed in Elite 3.9.0, so update the app. On an older version, run the app full screen and try again, or import on your iPhone and let iCloud bring it across.
