Saddle fore/aft
How BFF EZ reads it from your video
Your 4-second side view recording captures three to five full pedal strokes. The app locates the 3 o'clock crank position (crank horizontal, pointing forward) frame by frame, reads your effective saddle angle and knee-over-pedal distance there, and compares them to the fit window for your bike type. It plots your result in the graph below with knee-over-pedal on the bottom and effective saddle angle along the side.

- Inside the window → A checkmark. You're set!
- Outside the window → A direction (forward or back) plus a specific millimeter amount, calculated from how far your hips sit off target and the geometry of your stroke. Not a guess.
Adjust by the recommended amount and re-record. Because fore/aft and height are linked, the next recording's saddle height reading will shift too, so expect to re-check both.
