How BFF EZ reads it from your video

Your 4-second side view recording captures three to five full pedal strokes. The app finds the MKE position frame by frame, reads your knee and foot angle there, and compares them to the fit window.

Here's a distinction worth knowing. A static fit usually reads at bottom dead center (BDC), the fixed 6 o'clock pedal position, because that's the easiest point to find when you're not moving. MKE sits close to BDC but not exactly on it, and finding it takes a dynamic fit that watches your leg move through the stroke. When you can measure in motion, MKE is the better target, and BFF EZ does exactly that. The app does the reading for you, so this is just to get an idea of what it's looking at and why.

Inside the window → A checkmark. You're set!
Outside the window → A direction (raise or lower) plus a specific millimeter amount, worked out from the angle gap and the geometry of your stroke. Not a guess.

Here's a reading below the window and one above it:

Saddle too low. BFF EZ reads a knee angle of 134° at maximum extension (below the target range), so it recommends raising the saddle.

Saddle too high. BFF EZ reads a knee angle of 157° at maximum extension (above the target range), so it recommends lowering the saddle.

Make the change, re-record, and the next reading should land you inside the window or close to it.
