Quick start: Your first session
The loop and why it is a loop
You record, you read what the app tells you, you change one thing, you ride, and you record again. The whole method looks repetitive written down, but the iterative process is the point.
It can't be a simple checklist as everything on your bike is connected and every part of your body is connected. Move your saddle back to take some weight off your hands, and you've also increased your saddle height and altered your knee, hip, and torso angles.
The loop is how you keep up with that. When you re-record, you're not double-checking yourself and you're not starting over. You're looking at a genuinely new position.
This is also why the app lives on your phone rather than in a fitting studio. New bike, saddle, shoes, improved flexibility? These all can change your ideal fit window. A loop you can run in your garage after a change is worth more than one perfect studio session when your gear, strength, riding ability, and goals were different.
One term you'll see throughout: the fit window. Every measurement the app gives you is shown against a range rather than a target as there is no single correct number to search for. Rather, there is a range of comfortable, sustainable positions.
