Quick start: Your first session

about 12 minutes Section 7 of 13

Then saddle fore and aft

The app knows the two are linked, and it does something about it. Your fore and aft recommendation is calculated on the assumption that you will make the height change first. It is not describing the position in the frame you are looking at. It is telling you what will be true once the height is sorted.

So you could see a large height correction and a fore and aft checkmark at the same time, on a recording where the saddle looks obviously too far forward. Something like ↑ 12 mm next to ✓ 0 mm. That looks wrong, but it isn't: raising the saddle 12 mm carries your hips up and back, which puts your fore and aft where it needs to be on its own.
